New Siding:

Beauty, Durability & Value are all cornerstones to the vinyl siding products that we recommend. Starting with great products is just the first step; as with any product, attention to detail and expert craftsmanship are a must to achieve an exceptional finished installation. This is something that many siding companies claim but few actually achieve.

So What Makes a Quality Vinyl Siding?
The first thing to look at is panel thickness.
If a panel is too thin it can show imperfections from the wall underneath. This (in my experience) has been the number one objection to vinyl siding and in most cases could have been avoided if a thicker panel had been used. Thicker panels do cost more but if your contractor is worth his salt, he will give you a price breakdown and it should only be in the hundreds opposed to the thousands for the upgrade. Here are the panel thickness breakdowns: Builder Grade (.040), Thin Residential Grade (.042), Standard Residential Grade (.044), Thick Residential Grade (.046) & Super Thick Grade (.050). These are the benchmarks as per our experience and should give you a great idea of the quality of the panel you are buying.

The second thing to look at is the manufacturer.
**Inside Scoop** Few people like to talk about this but I feel that giving you honest up front information will help make you an educated consumer and improve this industry as a whole. Not to mention make your siding purchase a pleasant one that you can enjoy for many years to come.

I can't even begin to tell you how many people contact us trying desperately to find siding to match their installed vinyl siding that received damage due to Bar-B-Q's, Weed Eaters & Hail or to match for a new addition. If they don't make the product any more... insert expletives. Don't get put in this position folks. Pick a manufacturer that has been around for a while and make sure they are the ones who actually make the product. Why? Because times change. Companies fail. And even the main manufactures discontinue colors & product lines. So, keep it basic, stick to the main manufactures and the standard colors because if they don't make it anymore... well, you can't get it.

What Makes Vinyl Siding Exceptional?
Beauty
Vinyl siding provides enduring beauty and design flexibility. Using a variety of siding and soffit styles, colors, accessories and trim, you can update a ranch, add character to a colonial or even re-create a Victorian. Moreover, you can select one that will be consistent with your home's design and fit into the environment and neighboring homes.

Durability
Vinyl siding is now the number-one siding material available. And for good reason: Nothing beats vinyl siding, accessories and trim for sheer endurance. Unlike many other siding materials, vinyl is impervious to rain, cold, salt and snow. And it won't rot, peel, dent or show scratches, nor will it ever need painting. A simple soap-and-water rinse once a year is all that's required to remove dirt and maintain the look of freshly painted wood.

Value
Vinyl siding is a great investment. Re-siding a home is among the top ten remodeling projects in terms of overall payback. And, if you re-side with vinyl, you can often recoup 100% or more of your investment - if you pick the right company, of course.

Preasure Washing:

Keep Your Siding Looking New
Keeping your house exterior clean not only makes it look better, but it will help keep you aware of any problems that might otherwise go unnoticed. Regular maintenance will keep your siding looking new and lasting longer. Why is it so important to regularly maintain your siding? Like the skin on your body, there are two main purposes that siding fulfills– appearance and protection. It protects your home against natural elements and pests, adds stability to the frame of your home, helps insulate and it also adds character to the outside of the home. Although there are several different types of siding you can choose from for manufactured homes, the three most popular include metal siding, like aluminum or steel, vinyl siding or a natural wood siding. And each kind of material needs to be maintained differently.
